Findings demonstrated that Clenbuterol delays the degradation of p27, a critical cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, through modulation of β-arrestin 2 signaling pathways. This delay in p27 turnover contributes to the observed cell cycle arrest, highlighting a novel role for β-arrestin 2 in regulating myoblast proliferation. The results provide insights into the molecular basis of Clenbuterol cycle effects on muscle cells and underscore the interplay between receptor signaling and cell cycle regulation.
