I am a public health nurse with Indian nationality residing at Göteborg in Sweden with family. I have submitted my Doctoral Thesis to Indira Gandhi National Open University at New Delhi, India and am waiting for call for defense. At present I am learning Swedish as second langauge course at Folkuniversitetet in Göteborg. The course will be completed on November 20th 2015. This will enable me to proceed with my Swedish Nurse Licensure.
I am qualified as community Health nurse from St. John's National Academy of health sciences. It is a reputed national academy with a medical college, a multispeciality hospital with 1250 bed strength. I submitted my PhD thesis in January 2015, the title of the study is, "A study to assess the effect of interventional package on knowledge and reported practice regarding management of menopausal problems among women of rural community in Bengaluru district."
I have worked as a clinical nurse for 2 years(1997-1999) in India and as operating Theatre nurse for 2 yeras(2000-2002) United Arab Emirates (Dubai). In 2003 I entered into teaching field in nursing in the capacity of a tutor, same year joined for Masters in Community health nursing which was a two year postgraduate programme. From 2005 to 2013 worked as lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor and professor of community health nursing at university affiliated colleges in the city of Bangalore, South India.
In 2011 I registered for Doctoral in Nursing and submitted thesis in 2015 January. Currently I am residing in Sweden with family and preparing for Swedish licensure.
