About Tove Aminda Hanssen

Clinical experience from ICU at university hospitals in Norway.Defended my phd in June 2009 at The University of Bergen, Norway. PhD title: Improving outcomes after acute myocardial infarction: Implementing a post-discharge intervention providing information and support.

Postdoctoral research grant from 2011-1016 (50 % position). In addition are presently working as Clinical Nurse Researcher at the Division of Cardiothoracic and Respiratory Medicine, in University Hospital North-Norway (UNN) as well as Associate Professor at the Institute of health and care sciences at the Medical Faculty at the University of Tromsø, Norway.

Research interest:  Follow-up care, rehabilitation, and patient reported outcommes in acute and chronic heart disease. Have done clinical research applying both RCT, cross sectional and qualitative research designs.
